The MK 9 was a United States Navy (USN) WW2-era 500 lb (227 kg) aerial light-case (LC) high capacity (HC) demolition bomb. The MK 9 was normally fitted with a MK 221 nose impact fuze and a MK 223 tail impact fuze. The AN-MK 219 nose impact fuze may also be used in place of the MK 221.
