PV-42
The PV-42 (ПВ-42) is a pressure-activated firing device (fuze) intended for the mining of railway lines and in the triggering of anti-vehicle charges The PV-42 firing device appears to be a copy of the British Switch Number 5 Mark I (Switch No. 5 Mk I), which is covered in a separate entry. A version of the PB-42 firing device, which was known as the PW-42, was produced in the former German Democratic Republic (DDR, aka East Germany).
