Bd.Z. C/38
The Bd.Z. C/38 (Bodenzünder C/38) is a World War II era German Naval base-mounted delay fuze, which has both direct impact and graze functionality. The Bd.Z. C/38 is centrifugally armed and has an igniferous and not detonative output. The fuzes delay is in the order of 35 ms. The Bd.Z. C/38 was originally used in large, 30.5 and 38 cm, naval projectiles, though would also be used with coastal batteries using these guns.
