The M126 was a World War Two (WW2)-era, US Army (US Army) developed, mechanical, delayed-arming, instantaneous-action, nose impact fuze. Though developed by the US Army it was also used by the US Navy (USN), and hence it acquired the alternate AN-M126 designation; the AN short for 'Army-Navy'.
