The M904 is a mechanical, nose-mounted, impact-initiated general-purpose (GP) bomb fuze. This fuze is commonly used with the US MK 80 series of low-drag (LDGP) bombs. The fuze is armed by air pressure, which causes arming veins to rotate and align the striker body with an M9 delay element.
