F1 (Australian)
The F1 is a defensive high explosive fragmentation (HE-frag) hand grenade. The F1 uses preformed-fragmentation technology and a bouchon-type igniter system. The F1 grenade was developed to replaced the Australian-manufactured version of the US M26A2 that was then in service with the Australian Defence Forces. The Australian Defence Department temporarily withdrew the F1 grenade from service in September 2007 due to concerns about malfunctions....
