NO 4: ISRAEL
The No 4 is a simple plastic-cased anti-personnel blast box-type mine similar in operation to the Russian PMD-6. Copied by Egypt as the T/78 and Iran as the No 4. In 1994, Israel ceased production of AP mines and has imposed a moratorium on their export. The mine consists of a plastic box with a hinged lid which overlaps the sides.
