YM-IV-F
The YM-4-F is a flare bounding mine. The mine is fitted with a removable trip wire fuze which is actuated by a pressure of 7-15kg or a traction load of 3-8kg. Pressure (or traction) on the fuze causes an igniter to fire a propelling charge, ejecting the flare from the body of the mine to a height of approximately 100m.
