The M395 is an Israeli 155 mm (6.1 inch) hollow-base, base-ejection, submunition (bomblet) dispensing cargo (cluster) projectile, also referred to as a dual-purpose improved conventional munition (DPICM). The M395 carries sixty three M85 submunitions, their release over the target area controlled by an electronic time fuze.
