M36 (Submunition)
The M36 is a wedge-shaped, US-developed, anti-personnel (AP) submunition (a grenade in US nomenclature), which is carried in spin-stabilsied, artillery and rifled mortar dispenser (cargo, cluster, etc.) projectiles. The M36 is similar to the M39, which differs in the orientation and design of its stabilising drag vanes and the position of its fuzing system.
